What data we collect

We only collect data that is necessary for matching NPO positions:

• Account data: email address, name, role (employer or job seeker)
• Job listings: title, description, workload, location, contract type
• Applications: cover letter, CV (PDF/DOCX, optional), applicant contact details
• Job alerts: email address and chosen filters (canton, keyword)

Purpose of processing

The data is used exclusively for matching positions and maintaining employer relationships. It is not shared with third parties; in particular, we do not sell data or send marketing.

Legal basis

Processing is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and, where applicable, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in particular Art. 6(1)(b) (contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest).

Hosting & storage

All data is stored exclusively on servers in the European Union (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany). No transfer to third countries takes place.

Retention period

Applications are retained for six months after the respective position has been filled, unless you actively consent to further storage. Account and invoice data is retained according to statutory retention periods (10 years).

Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

• Access information about the data stored about you
• Rectification of incorrect data
• Erasure of your data (right to be forgotten)
• Data portability in a machine-readable format
• Restriction of processing or objection

Cookies & tracking

We use only technically necessary cookies (session token, language setting). There is no tracking by external services and no analysis of user behaviour.
